The material must contain at least 99% C, but .

It would be better if sellers specified the amount of carbon (and possibly other elements) in the fiber. I had to call the company to clarify this detail. The packaging was great too and seems to have improved over time from previous reviews.

Pros
  • The edges are taped to prevent tangling.
Cons
  • The string is shorter than other picks

Good quality carbon fiber cloth for use with epoxy

The product was wrapped in a clear plastic protective sleeve with no scuffs or snags. I have ordered carbon fiber cloth pieces from other commercial suppliers and this item was comparable to all of them. I use carbon fiber for RC sailboat hulls and this material works great with West Systems epoxy. I will order from this seller again. Nothing negative to report.

Pros
  • Supplied in a plastic tube.
Cons
  • flimsy

As another reviewer said the width of the fabric used is less than 12 inches due to the severely frayed edges. I'd say it's more of a usable width of 10.5-11 inches, it was good for what I needed. It got wet very easily (West Systems 105/205 for me) and didn't wear nearly as much much off I thought while working around the already worn edges. Would happily order again but too bad the manufacturer can't cut it more cleanly or do something to prevent the edges from fraying during the…
