Right side - received quickly

Received stainless steel flare nuts quickly to complete my car restoration project. Still under construction but so far the quality looks the same as advertised. The price was right. What else would you like to ask?

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Disappointed with the price of these nuts

The nut is loose on my wheel cylinders. The inverted flare area is set too deep into the nut. I had to sharpen the thread a bit to make them work. These are also very short. Disappointed with the price of these nuts.

Pros
  • Selling a set of 10
Cons
  • Protection

Works great with flex brake lines

I used it for brake work with a flex brake line (copper nickel) I bought from Revain. They worked great and I replaced all of the lines in my $200 truck (including tools) with enough material left over to replace all of the lines on my other truck.

Pros
  • Stainless steel color for easy identification
Cons
  • Negative present

I do not use stainless steel brake lines as my pipe flaring tools are not recommended for use with stainless steel lines. I use powder coated wires. This seemed logical as I'm not replacing calipers or wheel cylinders with stainless steel fittings so I don't have rust issues when I need to replace those other parts.

Pros
  • Nuts sold separately, fits most master cylinders and metering valves
Cons
