This is the flattest pillow. If it needed to be "adjusted" it would just remove the padding and it would literally be like sleeping without a pillow. No extra toppings as advertised. If you like a $40 flat pillow, this is your guy. If you want a pillow to be a pillow, stay away (and I don't even like super fluffy pillows!). Waste of time even if you try this pancake pillow.

As this item is sold under AMAZON BASICS you can be assured that the product is as advertised. This is not the case here! The pillows arrived today. Return them immediately! It is assumed that they will be filled with polyfiber "balls". Instead, it's just shredded fiber. The extra package "Balloons" did not arrive as promised. Zippers don't have a pull, so it's difficult to open. When opening, the filling got stuck in the zipper and was difficult to close! Don't waste money!

Okay I've been using these pillows at night for 8 months now. Everything is just as comfortable as the day I received them. Once I knew how soft I needed them and adjusted them accordingly, I was set. Eight months later, they're still as soft as the day I filled them (yes, you can adjust the filling). I'm very glad I skipped the $49 My Pillow and went for this one instead. If they get a little flat in the future, I'll have plenty of filling left over to add.

This pillow is well made and looks like it will last a long time. I had neck pain and haven't had them since I ordered them for my own bed. At first I thought they would be too harsh, but it seems that's what I need. I sleep on my side, not sure if that matters. I needed a thin, soft pillow. This one was a bit thicker and stronger, but easy to set up. I simply filled a gallon zippered freezer bag with the top two layers of stuffing to make it thinner for my liking and then some more right down the middle so I could fluff up the area just under my head more easily.
