Hub causes Wi-Fi errors

I bought this adapter to simplify cabling on my desk as I have a laptop and an extra display. Initial thoughts were that it has a sleek design and a solid anodized aluminum body. It was nice, like a quality product. I used it to connect an external SSD, PS4 controller, mouse and USB keyboard. I noticed a jerky mouse movement. It's okay, I connected the mouse directly to the computer. I then had the same problem with the keyboard. switched back to computers. I think I noticed my WiFi turning off

Works great with a 2018 Mac mini

Needed a few more USB-A ports than the 2018 Mac mini so I went with this one - it has a 3.5" hard drive attached with it Power supply and 2.5-inch non-powered HDD enclosure and monitor hub are connected to it and work without problems at rated speed. The cable that comes out is made of a soft-touch material and is long enough to sit comfortably next to the headset without any issues or significant kinks. The power warning in the product description definitely applies. While I've had success…

Nice addition to My Mobile Tech Items

I ordered a Macbook Pro from this guy and soon I had intermittent problems with it (I wasn't reading or connecting to devices and in one case the memory card data) . At first I thought it was user error or maybe a software or OS compatibility issue. I was frustrated and didn't have time to sort it out so I threw it in a drawer for 4 months (haha). When I had time I fiddled with it a little more and made sure there was a bad connection inside. I contacted support and a good rep sent a new one…

Too much lack of computers and accessories

I like the length of the cable and how it works with laptop hard cases and other USB-C ports. Functionality: Without even connecting any other USB-C cables, I connected 3 USB-A cables: a Bluetooth-based mouse adapter, a wired Xbox 360 controller, and an external WD portable hard drive. While all three were able to read correctly for a while, it wasn't long before they started (I assume) drawing too much power from the laptop's USB-C ports and repeatedly disconnecting/reconnecting. A wired Xbox…

OK ANKER PROVED ME WRONG

THIS IS A REDACTED REVIEW: The original item I received was defective and Anker asked to send me a new one which I hesitantly accepted and the how expected worked. Well done anchor, few companies today care about customer satisfaction like you do. Love the uncluttered desk and clean lines, I also bought a new Apple MacBook Air and the lack of ports made me look for a hub for all the things I wanted to connect. Buy recommendation: - Long-lasting value - USB 3.0 (minimum) - Long cable Design…

Works as advertised BUT.

So I bought it to use with my MacBook Pro. I HATE laptop keyboards and I've NEVER liked using trackpads, so I always carry a Logitech K400r keyboard and a Logitech Marble wireless with me. Both have wireless dongles and both have direct USB. That's a problem since the MacBook is USB-C ONLY. I have a standard Apple dongle but it only has 1 USB port. I plugged an old USB hub into it, but it was bulky, slow, and had a separate power supply. Which messed up my desk quite a bit. So I figured I'd use

  • USB hubs

  • There are other interesting options.

solid, to the point, works; What else do you need

I needed more ports to connect two external drives that I connected to a RAID 1 array. Both drives were USB 3.0 and fairly cheap for their 4TB size. Combining the two was significantly cheaper than buying a two-enclosure RAID drive, so I decided to go that route. The only problem was that I was running out of disk space on the computer's hub and ports. I saw this USB-C to USB-A adapter and realized that not only could I get more ports, I could also increase speed by working over USB. -C and…
