Great filter, didn't use the gasket that came with it.

Installed on my 2014 4 cylinder Camry. I think the filter was good quality and that was the main reason I bought it. I decided to reuse the original gasket that came with the car as it looked like a metal/graphite gasket which appeared to be of better quality.

It would have been better if it came with the correct gasket which I paid for.

Has anyone changed the seal!? It came with a rubber gasket when it should have been better. No third party to align the holes better. Was moved during installation. I hope the filter will not be exchanged for a cheaper one either. No leaks so far.

Good filter, bad seal.

The filter fits my 2012 Camry perfectly and comes with a new O-ring for those interested. The filter is a mixture of rubber and cardboard that comes folded in the box and does not lie flat. I couldn't get it to stay in the correct position using my other two hands to hold the pan in place and align the screws. I ended up just reusing the plastic spacer that was already used with the pallet.
