Convenient MessKIT Wastebasket with Onboard Dustpan and Brush - White by Better Houseware 3015 Review

This trash can does the job but has the rough look of putting it in a garage or basement - definitely not where guests can see it. It tips over easily due to the weight of the dustpan and broom. It was inconvenient to return them, so I use them out of sight.

The dustpan and broom side of the bin is very heavy and the bin will tip over if there is not enough weight in it or if it is not leaning against a wall. Also, grocery bags do not seam, which means there is space between the wall of the can and the edge of the bag. Needless to say, my kids and husband get "bored" when their junk ends up in the real part of the bag. Not a great product. I'll probably look for a simpler glass.

In a small space you will learn to buy multifunctional items. This trash can works great under the sink, uses plastic bags (double is best) and has a small broom and dustpan. It was exactly what I needed. I gave this item 4 stars as the only downside I would give it is the attached broom and dustpan which makes it "heavy on the side" making it easy to tip over if you're not careful. But I would recommend this item to anyone who is short on space.

I bought these to fit in a very tight space next to our toilet and in that respect it was the perfect purchase. The standard plastic bags you get with groceries work well as garbage bags. My only complaint is that the side shovel doesn't attach well to the basket itself and tends to fall off when the basket is least pushed. I store multiple bags at a time in this small trash can and use a dustpan and brush to "tie" the front edge of the bags to the front of the trash can to "tack" the front edge of the bags to the front of the trash can to hold garbage. the bag is open. I bought this bin and dustpan to keep next to the tray. I love that it has handles to keep the bags in place so they don't fall into the bin like my previous bin. I love that the dustpan and broom are attached, but like other reviewers, my pitcher tips over due to the weight of the dustpan and broom. I think since this product was designed to fit in small spaces, tipping might not be an issue if it's in a tight space keeping it upright. Maybe the extra weight at the bottom of the can will help…
