The city gave us a small batch of these bags when we signed up for the green waste program, so I knew they were probably one of the best products out there. I like that they're fairly durable as I don't try to compost them myself and I want them to withstand the leftovers we throw in every few weeks without falling apart. I edited this review because it is obvious that the production process allows for many variations. The second box of these bags was much stronger than the first. They're still sweaty, and they're still a little fragile, but manageable. Sizes are still an issue, they are too short compared to the large ones and fall into the bins I used. They will only come in handy to me without a trash can. I leave my bag on the counter and open/close it when I use it. I try to remove the bags every day or two
