Works great with my surface pro 7

I love this keyboard. I have no problem getting it to work with my Surface Pro 7. The only downside I have with this keyboard is that I usually run my palm over the mouse area when typing and later realize I started typing in a different area I didn't mean to. Maybe it's just my fault or the mouse pad is too sensitive? I do not know? As I said, otherwise I like it very much as I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a real Microsoft keyboard. This keyboard works great as a replacement and…

The best keyboard I've ever bought!

The keyboard is easy to type on, the keys are not too bulky or soft. The touchpad is not very sensitive. The keyboard has a sleep function, which is very handy when you step away from the keyboard and forget to turn it off. The keyboard works when not connected to the tablet, which is perfect since I draw on the screen with my hand. My favorite feature of the keyboard is the magnetic strip at the top. This makes it possible to type either flat or with an angled keyboard. As a student, I would…

Read the update in the review.

Looks good, but if you type without looking, you'll find the highlight jumps back a few words, messing things up, and you'll have to erase and type again. Also, if you need to use capital letters, you need to make sure you're pressing Shift really hard. It will not "feel" light pressure like a regular keyboard. This alone makes typing even more annoying. Update 4/20/21: First I gave it 3 stars because I wrote above. But the seller was very nice and refunded my money. They also offered a…

Read the specifications carefully before buying

Normally works. The keyboard is responsive and works well. I still have to get used to the notepad, as it often gets in the way when I'm typing. In the few days I've had it, I found that the battery doesn't last long on a charge. The battery level indicator hasn't worked for me yet. It either never burned, or if it did, I didn't notice it because it was just below where my right palm rests. Finally, I unfortunately had to realize early in the morning that the keyboard was not illuminated. It's…

Great alternative to MS Surface Pro keyboard

This MS Surface Pro Bluetooth Keyboard works exactly the same as the original MS Surface Pro Keyboard in every way. When I first received it, it took about 90 minutes to charge the keyboard with the included USB-C. I found the charging connection to be very practical and did not cause any functional problems with the cable connected. Tip: Connect to a Surface Power USB so you can charge your Surface and KB at the same time. Advantages. I tie a wrapped USB-C cable to the building block so I can…

Good keyboard, great customer service

I bought this keyboard to replace another third-party Surface Pro keyboard. The other lasted a little less than 2 years and then started to fail. So I didn't want to buy another one. This one looks much better, fits and the finish is excellent. It was very easy to put together and worked great with my Surface. Well I don't think it's perfect. I couldn't figure out how to use Alt-F4 to close a window (a longstanding Windows shortcut) since the media controls are bound to F4, as is the FN key to…

Should have bought a different Microsoft keyboard

When I bought my Surface Pro (5th Gen) in 2018, I bought the Microsoft OEM keyboard at the same time. I'm used to just opening the lid, turning on (or waking up) my Surface, and typing. I never had to charge it. I was spoiled I guess. I was disappointed when my Microsoft stopped working after about 2 years so I went cheap and bought this one. I've had it for less than 3 weeks, and if I've said "I HATE THIS KEYBOARD" once (per day) I've said it a million times. Compared to the Microsoft version,
