They scream! for security and surveillance

Do not "beep", shout and very loudly. I just tested the one I have and the 9 volt battery and let me tell you something. However, you will hear it at home. They're less than a dime and about the same height. I'll be back for more of these little screamers.

Pros
  • Outstanding performance
Cons
  • There are doubts

NOT what they advertise

I don't think those are 12 volt buzzers. At 12V they scream and distort as if clipped. They draw over 70mA, which I think is a lot. My other buzzers from another manufacturer have almost no ringing at 12V. They also operate on 1V, which is unusual for a 12V device. At 5 volts they work perfectly. If you need a 5 volt buzzer they might work.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Good price works well

I bought an old bus and didn't hear the turn signals. I put this in the turn signal circuit and added a little pop to the buzzer as it was too loud. Now I know when the turn signals are on. I found a YouTube video showing how to make a cheap "I have the lights on" buzzer. If you connect the hot wire to the headlights and ground to a circuit that only turns on when the ignition is on (becomes ground when the ignition is off, completing the circuit). This saved my battery a few times and now I…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
