says this part is for the upper O2 sensor. The part received was the downstream O2 sensor. The part was brand new in the box and the return and refund was quick, however the part did not match what was advertised on the website.

This item was what I ordered. This is a quality item. The installation guide was easy to follow. The kit included all the parts needed for installation. If necessary, correct the error.

Plug and Play for my Mazda 3 04 2.3L. A few squirts of a PB blaster onto my existing O2 sensor and a few large blasts with a pry bar and within 15 minutes I had the sensor replaced. No engine lights, it's had decent mileage including a couple of track days and no issues.

Replaced a faulty oxygen sensor in my 2004 Mazda 3 with one of these and it works great. Original. It is important to note that if used in a Japanese Mazda3 like mine the supplied connector will need to be replaced with the original connector as the notches are upside down. No tangled wires or anything, just replace the plug. I would recommend this to anyone who needs an O2 sensor.
