Description of Bosch SP0F000041 Electrical Pressure Chrome

Standard 2" white dial for a 2-1/16" opening. 0-100 PSI range with a 60 degree sweep. Features a chrome bezel with removable chrome mounting panel. Includes mounting hardware and 12 volt internal back lighting. Only for 12 volt negative ground systems.

I bought this for a houseboat generator

I bought this for a houseboat generator to show oil pressure. Before the installation I "flew blind". The lighting is excellent and the meter seems accurate, but without having a second meter somewhere I can't say for sure. Was easy to install and had good instructions.

Product quality control issue needs to be resolved

Product installed, system on and gauge reading 30 pounds of pressure with engine off. I checked all the cables and connections - everything is as in the instructions. The product is grounded and operates at the specified 12V. The product is not calibrated and cannot provide accurate oil pressure readings.

"If you don't succeed right away. "

Unfortunately I received a set with a defective sensor! The malfunction was that with the correct connection and power supply to the blocks (before starting the engine), the arrow did not move. After starting and running the engine, the pressure gauge needle barely went above zero. A cross check with a standard mechanical pressure gauge showed that the oil pressure in my engine was normal. Worked great for a year then failed

This oil pressure sensor has worked fine for me for about a year. At the time it seemed pretty accurate. Matches the mechanical gauge very well, but now it reads either 0 or 12psi on startup and never goes above 25psi. I was concerned that I had a mechanical problem with the engine, but the mechanical pressure gauge showed the oil pressure was normal. Poor quality product. Inaccurately reads/measures engine oil pressure in psi. Minus 5 Stars

I had the same results as other browsers, including the blackface sensor. Bought two of these gauges. Carefully hooked up and installed only to find the needle didn't go above 25psi at full throttle. Concerned that my engine was at fault, I bought a mechanical pressure gauge so I could check the engine oil pressure myself. This gauge showed engine pressure at 40 psi at idle and 50 psi at full throttle. I then tried a 25 year old VDO sensor with the matching sensor and confirmed good oil…
