Best six stars in the laundry

Wow, that's really great. I have a few small bloodstains on a very white blanket. Luckily it was on the edge where I could push the filling back a bit under the stains. Followed the directions on the stain remover bottle and the blood stains were GONE (and the stains sat on the quilt for weeks while I waited to find and get the stain remover)! I used to have dried blood stains on other things that couldn't be removed with the remover available at the time. Too bad there isn't a six star rating,

  • Weight

Does what it says on the bottle!

Where has it been all my life? I use it instead of hydrogen peroxide to remove blood stains. It wicks more blood more easily, meaning the fabric is more likely to remain stain-free after washing. It's also not as harsh on the fabric as hydrogen peroxide seems to be - I notice less pilling or fabric thinning after using it than after using hydrogen peroxide. I have not used it to remove very large stains and have not used it. without subsequent washing. (These solutions can only be used on…

Pros
  • Handsfree

  • Very expensive

Worked great on dried blood from a week ago!

Blood got on my favorite shirt after a medical procedure. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it at the time, so I came home and just threw it in the trash. After a few days I noticed stains and was afraid I had ruined the fabric forever. My cotton gauze shirt is a very light coral color, so I figured the stain remover would either 1) not work or 2) fade. Either that or throw the shirt away. I followed the instructions *exactly* and to my pleasant surprise it worked great! The shirt looks like new.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Exorbitant piggy bank
