It's pretty cute.

They are very cute. I felt very confident using them, they didn't seem to want to budge when the spring was compressed and I love this case. The clips on the case came loose when I first opened the case and they do every time I open it, but I'm still happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great product for your money.

I love this item. I was a little worried about the low price. All in all it was a great product, I've used them all the time, no problem, even on big trucks with springs, just tighten each side a little evenly and there shouldn't be a problem.

Arrived quickly and worked great. I had to swap the front shock absorbers.

Arrived quickly and works great. We had to replace the front shocks with a '79 Triumph TR7. We were able to compress the springs quickly and safely. The compressors look very solid and would be a welcome addition to my garage shop.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Fits

Easy to use I recommend.

Product works like a charm. I changed the racks on a 2016 ram, the springs compress with no problem. It bothered me that there were only two compressors, and in the videos I watched there were three. The compressor had a slight bend, but the work was completed without injury. Easy to use I recommend.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Updates available

Heavy duty item for tools and equipment

This is a lot more than I expected for the price. Shaped clips with a safety pin are much easier to use than the curved clips I'm used to. The only reason I probably won't order again is because they're meant to last a lifetime. Edit: I finally found the problem with this article. The latches on the case tend to come loose when fully opened. Does not affect the use of the product. Would still buy again.

  • Automotive
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Must Have: Suspension Tools

I only need to compress the springs occasionally, whether to help with the suspension of a Jeep (often needed) or a car with struts. This is a tool that requires skill and care as any tool that can apply pressure to spring steel involves risks. This tool works very well and is well made. Good value for money. My advice is if you don't know how to remove and replace springs get help from someone who does or take your rig to a reputable shop where a knowledgeable mechanic will do the work on this

Pros
  • Tools and Equipment
Cons
  • Expensive

I suspect they work better on car shelves than pickup truck racks.

The good news is they worked and probably will work again. The bad news is that they flex a little, and the good news is that they flex back after you release the pressure. I bought them for my Tundra but I suspect they really are better off than on a car. I'll probably need to get a heavier set for my 3/4 ton coil springs. They bent quite a bit during use, but when I replaced them and put new struts in, they bent again. After replacing both fronts, they are back in the case and look straight…

Pros
  • Hanging tools
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
