Works well with smaller lines than 550 but cannot screw 550 in. Used the smaller size and taped 550 on it to use. I will try again when I have time.

Paracord's plastic alloy slips out of the threads if you can put them in at all. Won't get through paracord knots, even cobra stitch seems too tough for them. You seem strong.

I LOVE working with paracord. It is MANDATORY that these risers are fully inserted and never fall out! Don't forget to buy a needle the size of a micro cord for jewelry on bracelets, etc.

They are easy to use and make lacing/braiding a lot easier. After watching a few YT videos, I had no problem tightening tight laces or paracord. Using 2-4 threads of the same color makes it easier to track where you are with different colored needles. In general they are good and comfortable. They work with a variety of 550 laces and cords. By the way, I'm just learning some cords, not a pro. You are perfect for me. YMMV.
