I have over 300 songs on a USB stick that plugs in. The MP3 player's output is sent to the whole house transmitter, making music available for any FM radio within range. I have a similar USB stick that I listen to in the car. I have subscribed to this free satellite radio service for several years now. No longer. Like everything else, costs kept rising. Works but leaves something to be desired

I bought this player to play music from a flash drive through my old Pioneer receiver/amp stereo system. (We have all our music on flash drives as these are also used in both of our machines). This player is quite an odd device, but to echo another reviewer, this was the only thing that helped me. By the way, the fact that it has a radio doesn't matter to me - I was only interested in the capabilities of the USB player. Stereo output plug to two RCA plugs for amplifier input. Old school electronics

Update July 2021: The remote stopped working after 3 months of moderate use. (Note: Tested with a new battery although the original 2032 is over 3V).
