Description of 🧮 Coogam Geoboard: Exploring Mathematical Concepts with Manipulative Material

Geometrical Board: There are 1 wooden board with 64pcs of nails half driven in, 35 pattern cards(5 empty cards & 30 geometric cards). The supply of one individual package of latex band pack are more than enough. The board measures 7 x 7 x 0.9in, weigh 14.4 oz. Educational Toy: Having them in school to learn all types of different 2D shapes and figuring out fractions. Good for kids who love making shapes, letters, designs and struggle with grasp, fine motor & visual motor skills. Competitive Advantage: The back side has pegs in the shape of a circle, the little tops on them and nails on the long side help make it easy for small fingers to get the bands on them and stay on them. Really broaden the scope of the shapes they make. Sturdy & Durable: All of the boards felt very firm and secure, hold up well when playing with them. The bands were also strong and won’t have any of them break easily. (There may require adults direction for 1-3 year old kids).

Small, travel friendly

My 3 year old daughter loves this - she loves to make some shapes and tries to put on as many rubber bands as possible at once. I hope to use the cards in the future when she gets a little older. I like that the nails/pins have rounded tips so they don't feel sharp and while they hold the ties securely to the board they also don't snag when trying to remove the ties. We've had a few broken bands, but the board itself is of very good quality.

Pros
  • Fun
Cons
  • Has problems

The cards are not ideal

I really like that the board is very strong. This is a very good size for small hands. This was intended for my 4 year old. What I didn't like is that the cards that come with it are very random in shape. Some of them are asymmetrical, and the ones that are symmetrical are not your usual preschoolers. I'm sure it can work well with other kids, but for what I had in mind, cards definitely aren't the thing. But the whole set is good, so only one star off for the cards.

Pros
  • practical thing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good quality cards but not good design

My students love them! So far none of the rubber bands have broken, but I see that as plausible and would like a convenient way to get a replacement. Also, the more intricate designs shown on the side of the box are not on the cards inside and I wish better cards were included as the cards inside are shown as filled with color and not lines like they generate the stripes, making it difficult for children. understand how to recreate this form. Where are the picture cards?

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Disappear

Well done and 2 year old loved it!

This wooden geoboard is a fantastic activity for my 2 year old! It's good for developing hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and even open-ended play! This activity grows with your child! To start, you can just practice putting on and taking off the rubber bands, and then move on to the next step - making pictures out of rubber bands, and finally copying pictures from cards! On the cards you can choose a variety of patterns. The cards are double-sided well processed. There is a drawing…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
