Didn't work well for 2017 Subaru STI

The tool is flexible and strong so I'm rating based on that as I didn't break it. I was able to disconnect some fuel lines on my 2017 STI, but this tool didn't fit some of the connectors near the bends in the carbide lines, so I had to improvise with other objects (metal picks).

Just buy this item

Countless times I have used metal pen clips to remove Subaru fuel line quick disconnects as typical mixed metal fuel line tools from local auto parts chains. will not go to Subarus. I finally decided to buy this tool and I regret not having done it sooner. The fuel liner popped out easily and I had peace of mind that I hadn't damaged the inner seal. A very worthwhile investment if you work on Subaru engines.

Doesn't work on STi 2008

I've tried this tool on two different fuel line fittings with no success. I watched tutorial videos on youtube, read forum posts, tried everything. I think the problem is that the "compressors" are too thin and the clips don't push into the connector. There were two other slots that I couldn't even insert a tool into due to the shape of the hard fuel lines. Rails. I would have to sand the ends of the "prongs" to make them fit. Also, the tool is expensive for a piece of nylon that can only be…
