My tire was flat, good for tires and wheels

I went out at night after putting them on and one of my tires was flat. I filled up the tank and the next morning the tire was flat. I filled it up and put the old regular boring valve cap on and it's been fine ever since. you look cool But it's hard to look too cool in flats.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Short guide

Made cheap. Cause of air leakage in tire. broken garbage.

cheaply made. Causes air leakage from the tire because the cap is bent and the valve stem does not close properly. They have a small rubber stopper/seal inside that is broken. I bled the tires twice before figuring out the problem.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • defects present

Inner seal removed.

Received them fairly quickly which I was pleased about. When I installed the first cover, I noticed that air was escaping. So I removed the cap and found that the seal was stuck in the valve stem. I removed the gasket from the stem and screwed the cap on without it. After the bladder test, I removed the fillings from the remaining skullcaps and put them on. The air pressure has not dropped, and surprised that after a week they still work and are not stolen.

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Was damaged

Check the seal inside

I like the way they look and they are not cheap, they look great on my scooter that I am remodeling. But I ran into a major problem: They have a small rubber stopper or gasket on the side. I don't really know how it happened but it fell out the inside of the cap and into my valve and when I got out the next day my tire was flat. Wow I wanted to work so happy I had something else to do start when I got home to fix it I decided to fill it with air first and to my surprise this little rubber seal…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Satisfied but regretful customer

These valve covers are as described and shown. So far they are all doing their duty, but I am worried about their future. Decorative caps can be their own worst enemy when it comes to oversized, protruding and uneven surfaces. As small as they look in the picture, they appear huge when placed on the valve stem. Since they spin at high RPMs when walking down the street, I can't help but wonder if that extra wind resistance will cause them to loosen (unscrew) and then become lost and/or worse…

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Useless functions
