Works as intended, easy installation

Works normally, SNMP conforms to standard UPS formats. Mine immediately got a DHCP address. The web interface is a bit missing, it seems to be the front end for the Telnet/SSH session. Only one person can log in at a time, and as far as I can tell, there's no way to get SNMP-like status over XML/JSON, which would be a great feature. I also had trouble setting up authenticated SMTP email notifications, it doesn't work with the same settings I've used on other devices (e.g. Synology DSM). If I…

Pros
  • Remote management and configuration of UPS and ATS PDUs (HTTP/HTTPS) via web browser or NMS (SNMPv1/v3)
Cons
  • unreliable

(For the older generation, one would probably buy this upgrade, for the new ones either just get the one with the included interface to start with or take some time to decide…

Pros
  • UPS real-time monitoring / optional environmental sensor (ENVIROSENSOR) support
Cons
  • Dear

Exceeded my expectations!

I bought this card for my Cyberpower OR500LCD that I have at home for network equipment. My batteries were dead, but I didn't know until we had a power outage. Determined not to let this happen again, I bought this card to better monitor and test the UPS. The first thing that struck me was that it could be installed without shutting down the UPS. It was great as my family uses the internet all the time. I plugged it into the back of the UPS, plugged it in and it immediately got a DHCP IP…

Pros
  • Supports external authentication protocols RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS and Windows Active Directory
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
