I wanted to use these to light up a few dark areas in our home. They were actually too bright for my use case and I felt the cutoff wasn't good enough. I could tell I was sending a ton of light to my neighbors across the street. Luckily my dad had to replace the grain bins. You helped him tremendously!

My job is to install lighting. I needed 6 of these lamps and the reviews were ok. After installing 1 I wanted to test it. Turned on for 5 seconds, crackled a little and stopped. Input power was tested at 119 volts (excellent) but the light was poor. Light barrier removed, still not working. Now I have to take care of sending it back and getting new lamps. I would never buy these again!

Both work fine. They have the lowest lumens I have found so far. I want them to be half as bright. I put one in the garage, one inside the house 40 feet apart. It was too bright. We put 2 of these next to our garage door as our garden is very dark.
