Get the job done but have problems

2006 LJ - I installed it 1" higher with the Daystar body mount. Replacing the entire motor mount is a project and I would recommend a used one for some alignment issues. My biggest issue with this product is the engine vibration dampening. At idle you can feel engine vibrations to the point where my driver's side mirror wobbles. I would recommend just creating an MML block that keeps the factory mounts. Installation requires the same amount of BS, but factory mounts seem to work better.

Pros
  • 1" higher than stock
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Excellent engine mounts and very strong

Excellent engine mounts and very strong. I have a lifted 1998 4.0 Wrangler and I didn't want to drop the transfer case so I decided on an engine mount. Standard mounts allow too much play for my liking, so I went for strong ones. They're pretty easy to put on and fit great. I eliminated some of the gearbox vibrations I was having and increased them a bit as well. There is slight vibration at idle and while driving, but I wouldn't go stock anymore. They are also good value for money!

Pros
  • Reduces power loss compared to traditional mounts
Cons
  • Crumpled

DIFFICULT TO INSTALL! Works well enough.

This is a good engine jack. But it is VERY VERY difficult to install on a 97 2.5 liter manual with air conditioning. The driver's side came in like a breeze, well, 35 minute breeze. The passenger side was insanely hard. I had to grind some of the rubber to match the machined surfaces on the inside of the cylinder block mounting yokes. To get the pressure I used plumbing. PIA. The engine then slipped back 1 inch and all of the bolts were misaligned and I had to undo the transfer case fasteners…

Pros
  • A special polyurethane compound insulates the engine
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
