🎨 DecoArt ADS-01 Americana Decor Stencil, Brocade Motif, Grey, Art Deco Style Review

Great and heavy stencil. I have several models from this manufacturer and plan to buy many more. I recently used this stencil with a product called Holzlasur, great! (pictured unfinished and painted)

It's thick enough not to bend, but soft enough to bend. Washes off very easily. I made a relief stencil and it turned out well the first time. I'm sure if I just get better at how I train.

I really liked this design; This was just the inspiration I needed to complete my closet painting project! He turned my monster corner cabinet into a showpiece! I smudged the paint with a sponge, there was a little bleeding, so I used a fine-tipped brush to correct the imperfections; big!

I received my stencil very timely and it is nicer than I thought it would be. Haven't used it yet but it's a nice smooth finish on my face that helps remove excess color when I use it. I am painting a large rug and can't wait to use this stencil for my accents. A budget constrains me to keep my spending at a certain level, but for the price I paid, that's very nice.

Great design, looks very good. The problem, however, is that the paint bleeds from the back, so it needs to be cleaned before each reuse. Otherwise the color will definitely smudge. And since the pattern is delicate, cleaning will damage the stencil. The fact that I had to clean before reusing really slowed me down and frustrated me. If the area you want to shield with paint is large, it is worth buying more than 1 screen. But I think for the price it's worth it.

I have never tried screen printing but wanted to try embossing on the wall. Out of paranoia about trying some 3D on my wall, I tried it on a piece of canvas I had first. I really liked how my little test ended. At first I was a bit nervous and applied the drywall mix too thick (plaster could have been used instead of joint compound).
