Cheap curtain rod. I doubt the stability of braces. I hope they don't warp over time. The balls are poorly made of plastic and one end is not properly made. Rather than fumbling with the return, especially after the brackets are already screwed into the wall, I simply taped the end around it to make it fit the end of the rod better. I think you get what you pay for.

Not so bad. My curtains haven't fallen yet. The stem seems pretty solid. I would buy it again if needed. The doodle balls at the end look pretty light and cheap, but it's not like people pick this thing up like it's a club and twirl it around like a sixth grader with a colored guard. So yeah, if you're something of a busted slut, this is probably the way to go. 🤗

This cornice is funny. The ends are plastic, like plastic, that can be bent with some hand pressure. One end had to be lost and I had to add tape to make it bulkier so the round part would fit in the pole. The other was so tight when I pushed it into the torn cornice.
