Now it works but the top cover is missing.

As already mentioned, it lacks the round plastic cover. My original clear plastic valve had no cap and was leaking so the valve was replaced. There are no leaks yet, but I just did a few test flushes before wintering.

Missing and wrong parts

Parts were missing from the packaging and one of the parts didn't even fit in the toilet. I have a Dometic 511+ toilet which was one of the models listed for this article. Very disappointed! I would be willing to pay for the correct plug if I could get one.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Contact seller

The price is even better than the manufacturer!

Needed this item to fix the toilet in my RV. Since I also live in an RV, I need to be able to flush the water without spilling everywhere! A knowledgeable friend did the install for me and it was quick, so I'm sure a little experience helped. Revain was about $10 less than the manufacturer's website, plus free shipping saved me another $15 over the shipping cost advertised by the manufacturer! Wonderful and great shopping experience!

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Useless features

Installation was easy

Followed another reviewer's recommendation to heat the hoses to remove the old part. Simply used the hair dryer for a few minutes and then unplugged the hoses from the old unit and then to the new unit. Tighten the clamps and slide them back into the back of the toilet. There are no more leaks. As another reviewer also mentioned, the new device didn't have the small flat lid that the old device had. He slightly moved away from the old block and switched to a new one. Not sure if the cap is…

Does your kit contain all parts?

Desaturated! A star needs to be explained. The part itself was fine, the insulation was easy, it matched the existing part perfectly. The problem was that the kit did not include a vent cover for the vacuum interrupter. If I hadn't saved the old item and reused its cover, the installation would not have completed. After all, the cap was put on for a reason. This is not the fault of Revain or the seller. It was poor quality control by the manufacturer. If I didn't need to get the toilet working…

Quick and easy repair

I have an old RV and my toilet was leaking. Couldn't find a replacement locally. Tried several RV shops within a 50 mile radius with no luck. I bought it hoping it would work and it worked. Unfortunately it didn't work for my toilet model so I had to add some PVC from the hardware store but now it works like a dream. I'm so glad I didn't have to change toilets because of such a small detail. It was a great price and I got it much quicker than if I had ordered it from my local RV dealer. I gave…

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Modern

Back of the toilet. The repair will take a few minutes, simply gently pull the existing block from the back of the dresser which is usually far enough from the wall to accomplish this by blindly reaching backwards and gently pulling/twisting until it pivots (fragile plastic tubing, so don't cut it), then flip sideways and reinsert the vacuum breaker, then blindly reach backwards and reinsert into the back of the dresser. You don't have to be a gymnast or try to disconnect the hoses while…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some problems

Suitable for Sealand/Traveler 910 toilet

Replaced a leaking vacuum switch on a Sealand Traveler 910 RV toilet with this kit. I couldn't fit the slightly stretched ends of the hose into the strain relief bracket that comes with this kit, so I used a zip tie to hold them together. Also, this kit does not come with a vent cover while my original switch does. This is easy to remove so keep the original if you have one. It shouldn't affect the operation of the breaker without it, it seems it's only needed if the seal is leaking and…

  • All right!
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Exact fit on Toy Hauler

Exact replacement for 2006 3905 Weekend Warrior. Well made and very easy to assemble. Use dish soap to install the hose that goes into the toilet seat. Use the heat of a hair dryer to easily remove old hoses without damaging them like others have said. If you have a valve cover held on by a single screw that is very difficult to reach without a very short screwdriver or loosening the toilet, use pliers or a vise and a short screwdriver and loosen the screw. one or two turns until you can easily

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Negative impression
