As already mentioned, it lacks the round plastic cover. My original clear plastic valve had no cap and was leaking so the valve was replaced. There are no leaks yet, but I just did a few test flushes before wintering.

Parts were missing from the packaging and one of the parts didn't even fit in the toilet. I have a Dometic 511+ toilet which was one of the models listed for this article. Very disappointed! I would be willing to pay for the correct plug if I could get one.

Needed this item to fix the toilet in my RV. Since I also live in an RV, I need to be able to flush the water without spilling everywhere! Followed another reviewer's recommendation to heat the hoses to remove the old part. Simply used the hair dryer for a few minutes and then unplugged the hoses from the old unit and then to the new unit. Tighten the clamps and slide them back into the back of the toilet. Replaced a leaking vacuum switch on a Sealand Traveler 910 RV toilet with this kit. I couldn't fit the slightly stretched ends of the hose into the strain relief bracket that comes with this kit, so I used a zip tie to hold them together. Exact replacement for 2006 3905 Weekend Warrior. Well made and very easy to assemble. Use dish soap to install the hose that goes into the toilet seat. Use the heat of a hair dryer to easily remove old hoses without damaging them like others have said. If you have a valve cover held on by a single screw that is very difficult to reach without a very short screwdriver or loosening the toilet, use pliers or a vise and a short screwdriver and loosen the screw. one or two turns until you can easily
