$4 instead of 25 apples. Just buy these.

$4 compared to the $25 of Apple's original Yes, they get 5 stars because they're just little plastic disks that work. Installation is pretty easy, just make sure you line it up correctly. But they hold up with no problems. Do not use the case screws that come with the kit. They're a little big, so use the standard ones. If you must use them, be aware that they don't fit perfectly in a suitcase.

Could be tackier

I bought this for my MacBook Air, when I got it I found the screw kit was actually for a MacBook Pro which is kind of a shame. I opted for screws anyway, there wasn't enough to replace all the bottom screws (probably because I bought the wrong type), the ones that fit were really nice and easy to install. The rubber foot wasn't very sticky and kept falling off my laptop, which was a bummer too.

Great products, great customer service

: I'm editing this review because the customer service this company provides is outstanding. They really stand behind their products. The rubber feet look small at first glance, but they are actually the perfect size. They only look weird if they are not installed on the computer. The screws appear to be of the highest quality. A screwdriver is enough for work. If you open up your laptop all the time I would recommend getting the 3 piece screwdriver set which includes the most common…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are more interesting options. UPDATE

Perfect for my 2012 MBP

Got this for a 2012 15" MacBook Pro. My MBP broke one of the legs in half. So I got them and with the help of a knife removed the old legs (it's just a round band holding them). I removed them and cleared the area. Then put it on. You don't need screws or a screwdriver to swap the legs (I think you could remove the bottom and put them through the hole instead of prying them open with a knife). But I like the backup screws as I had the MBP screws cut so backups are always good.Very happy with…

Works as expected, best in computer components

I had no problem getting my foot in place of my old one (heat cracks, yes) on my old mid 2010 mbp. screwdriver not. Big. I removed most of the screws before the driver stopped working. I had to switch to something else to finish and put the lid back on. But it was kind of "here's a free screwdriver" so I can't complain too much. The screws came in handy as I didn't have any. I put the rest (they came in a small zipped bag) with my new driver set so I could have them on hand if I needed them…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Minor issues

1. Feet are plastic, not rubber 2. Feet do not provide slip resistance (probably because they are plastic and not rubber); 3. "Glue" is really double-sided tape; 4. The "adhesive" tended to stick to the shipping plastic rather than the legs, requiring repeated attempts to separate the "adhesive" from the shipping plastic along with the legs. That's enough for now, but I guess I'll have to replace these feet in the short term as they are either (1) falling off due to bad "glue" or (2) I'm…

  • Easy Installation

Waste of money and you may damage your car

One of the screws on my MacBook could not be undone - the last one, of course. The screwdriver stripped this screw and broke itself when I tried to unscrew it. This meant I couldn't remove the bottom cover to solder the legs. Also, 9 screws were removed that I couldn't put back. Luckily, this kit included extra (non-Apple) screws that fit into the standard Philips-patterned holes on the bottom of the case. I was able to replace them with a precision screwdriver I had at home, but I didn't like…

Pros
  • Everything is great!

Almost Exact OEM Match + Helpful Tips

HELPFUL HINTS: Only replace the broken legs first. Leave those who are still hanging alone. You need to remove the entire bottom of the case, completely wipe the remaining glue off the broken legs, and wipe them well with rubbing alcohol on a paper towel. That's the trick: heat. You must heat the aluminum before gluing the replacement legs. Hair dryer, heat gun, electric stove. It does not matter. Heat it to around 130-150F (too hot to touch comfortably). Do not touch the cleaned area. Quickly…
