I installed these knock sensors on my Chevy Suburb 5.3L 2001, the knock sensor code came during the test, they show the correct resistance but no reading of whether the engine knocks or not leads to a new one Illumination of the "Check Engine" light

My mechanic installed them 2 weeks ago and the check engine light came on within 25 miles. Had it reset again and the check engine light came on again after 56 miles. Now it happens every 5km or less. Recommend buying OEM knock sensors instead.

I had to trust the reviews and scrap these cheaper sensors and they got 4 stars but the comments were everywhere. Now remove the intake again, possibly buy new intake gaskets, and do it again! Not a happy camper.

Cheap, weighs less than original, code sent back after 2 weeks, bought original and didn't return but the harness is worth it because just the wire costs more everywhere else. It's good that Replacing cables when swapping out sensors because you only want to remove the air intake once and never again.
