Energizer Battery Height 5 Wide Length Review

I ordered them a year ago and therefore some time has passed, but the need to use them arose only about a month ago . So take it for what it's worth. However, I tried 3 of these batteries before realizing that the batteries died to begin with. I have multimetered each of them in the package. Average voltage is around 9.2V, some devices were as low as 4.5V. These are all unused batteries. They appear to be mercury batteries with a silver "energizer" on a black background. They work, but not for as long as other mercury-free batteries bought around the same time. I had one of each needing to be replaced around the same time. This battery read 0 volts, cracked along the seam, and corroded along the seam and at the negative terminal. Compared it to a dead mercury free battery and found no corrosion or splitting and the charge was still there but below hardware specs. Both batteries
