Great picture, 3 stars because there is no way to output sound from the projector. Looks like you need an HDMI splitter. The RCAs on the back are for audio input only.

Honestly I bought this for my college dorm last year rather than spending $600 on a large TV or using a small one. The picture quality is incredible and it has spent many hours and nights in cinemas so far. It's still very strong. I really like this product and if you are looking for a basic projector setup this is it. The only thing is to get an HDMI switch box to be able to use external speakers and have more than 1 HDMI port.

After using the InFocus projector for several years the light bulb finally died so instead of replacing the light bulb I went looking for a new projector. I chose this Epson projector after being recommended by the school's IT department and have never been happier. The picture is top notch and the car is very quiet. The only thing I noticed is that although projectors do get very hot, the projector gets very hot. But overall I am very happy with my purchase.

This projector is simply great for business presentations. You can see everything very clearly. It gives off quite a bit of heat so it's good to have a room that can ventilate some of the air, but that's tolerable. The only complaint I have is that you have to place the projector quite far from the screen or wall to project a large image. It would be great if I could just scale the image to the right size without having to physically move the projector back. But for the price it was perfect for

My situation: I didn't have a TV, but I have Revane Prime and Netflix. I live in a fairly small apartment that has some fairly large white walls. I wanted the projector mainly for daily viewing, mostly afternoons/evenings. So a workhorse that gets me through. Mobility wasn't a major issue, but I needed something I could easily take to a friend's house or take with me when I move house. For my situation, this projector is AMAZING.
