🔧 Ernst Manufacturing 5089 Gripper Wrench Organizer, 15 Tool, Black - Ultimate SE-Optimized Storage Solution Review

The Ernst wrench holder/organizer is made from a great flexible material that keeps my wrench in place but is easy to remove. The integrated handle allows me to take all my wrenches at once and bring them to the job site or project without losing or losing them. Two different colors make it easier to distinguish the SAE key set from metric keys. I plan to buy more to clean up my ratchet wrenches.

All my SAE metric and combination wrenches used to be kept in the toolbox drawer. I tried to organize them on the rubber mat but every time I closed the drawer they moved and ended up in a mess. I bought two of these, one for metric and one for SAE. And now they stay in place and are much easier to find in any size I need. stay where you put them.

I have three different brands of wrenches, two sets of seven and one set of ten, so I ordered (2) - 7 wrench holders and (1) - 10 wrench holders. For two of the sets I own, model 5081 - 7 key holders hold nothing but small keys, very well. The keys should be fairly thin for the 5081 holder. It holds my Craftsman keys until I get to the 5/8" and 3/4" keys, they are too thick. The 5049 model holds most keys very well. I think I can return two 5081 holders and get two more out of ten key holders.

I bought this to hold and store a second set of open end wrenches. It holds 5/16 to 1 1/4 inch keys and keeps them secure. It's a little bulky when full, but it still works. I will note that the SK tools are a bit wider and thicker to fit snugly, but most other brands should fit perfectly, I have a handyman. My part set from SK fitted but didn't fit very well and warped the small parts that hold them. Maybe a little heavier so it doesn't flex as much when full and wearing it. At 15 wrenches…

I like the neatness, the visibility of each key and the ability to organize my combo keys in a more compact way than the rolled key case I had previously. I also bought a black reversible organizer which is the perfect complement to the holder in question to cover my metric keys. The only downside to both is that the keys are getting bigger and thicker, pressing too tightly together and becoming a bit more difficult to insert. The design of these key organizers is much better than most other types I've come across for the following reasons: 1. The handle is strong enough to easily hold a fully loaded shelf while carrying 2 .The handle can also be folded down to reduce the space required for installation in the tool box drawer.3. I have bought this organizer before. (only 5 so far) I like that they match and I use black for metric and red for SAE. I love how they come in different configurations for more or fewer buttons in a given set. (not much wasted space if you use it in a smaller set and order a smaller organizer for example).
