Purchased this item in April 2020 to replace the belt on my vacuum cleaner which has been in service for over 10 years. It worked great at first. But in less than 4 months of use this replacement belt has already broken. I was very disappointed that this belt didn't work.

I bought these to replace the belt in the Sanitaire SC5745B. The vacuum cleaner brushes barely turned. It still picked up dirt from the carpet, but no more. Called Sanitaire direct and was told either 61120A or 61120B would work (can't remember but both numbers led to this product after googling). I put them on and the belt fits perfectly. Well it's time to remove that old strap that slipped through. The belt was broken and worn out. The replacement was easy, I only had to remove 3 screws on my vacuum and I recommend doing this outdoors as you won't believe the amount of dirt that comes out when you remove the cover. After removing the old belt and brush I recommend checking that the bearings at the end of the roller move freely, otherwise you will be installing a new belt which may fail again.
