Description of EVANS Waterless Prep Fluid EC42001 - 128 fl. oz.

Engineered specifically to purge the cooling system before installing new waterless coolant. Seeks out old coolant and water that remain after draining existing antifreeze/water mixture from an engine. Especially important to use when block drains are unavailable or cannot be removed Ensures that the final water content after installing Evans Waterless Coolant meets operating limits. Protects cooling system metals during flush, but is not a substitute for Evans Waterless Coolants.

Terrible Cooling Solution for Automotive Engines

This product is nothing but trouble. It claimed to be waterless and easy to use, but unfortunately, it caused my engine to overheat and caused damages to my car. Plus, its high price doesn't justify the results it delivers.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Doesn't work, expensive

WILL NOT cool your engine. It does, however, meet the advertised specs.

Expensive! If you have a leak, make sure you have an extra gallon. YOU CANNOT ADD WATER TO THIS EVANS! I thought, like others, that this product would lower the operating temperature; However, when I read the fine print, it just raises the boiling point. This is a good product but I want my engine to run cool. So I switched back to "wet water" plus distilled water for my Boss Hoss bike. Distilled water prevents minerals from entering the radiator.

Pros
  • Specially designed for flushing the cooling system before installing new waterless coolant
Cons
  • Wrinkled

The ultimate coolant, the best in oils and fluids

I've been an Evans fan since 2010. Coolants kept my bike and car cool in 2011. Summer heat in Houston, Texas. The coolant proved particularly valuable as the fan in my car stopped working. This summer my temperature gauge never went outside of the normal range. Evans Prep Fluid ensures that all existing coolant is removed and does not affect the properties of Evans coolant once added. Evans products could even be seen in Jay Leno's garage. Evans coolant is designed to last a lifetime, so you…

Pros
  • Protects the metals of the cooling system during flushing but does not replace Evans waterless coolants
Cons
  • Nothing
