Sorry, but this product couldn't stand even a blind person? The rods twist together, not just the extensions, well mine don't even twist, plus they're so cheaply made that even superglue still won't work. If I were you I wouldn't waste my money. I meant that the fan blades are not blind. oops :(

Even regular fan blades won't fit. I have three fans and it doesn't fit either. None of my fans are unusual. Also, one of the metal rods that threads into the other had a screw that was stuck so it couldn't thread into the extension properly. So not only was it defective, it also didn't match my fan blades.

I have several fans with slightly wider blades and it was difficult to clean them. The only fan I bought it for (in the bedroom and very dusty), the unit fits perfectly on the blades but keeps shedding balls of dust all over the floor and bed. And finally (and this can be a bit picky) the tool felt VERY weak. Overall not a fan of fan cleaners.

I love that it goes over the ceiling fan blades. I like the ability to adjust the height. It can also be used to clean hard-to-reach window sills and paintings. It doesn't pick up dust but throws it off the blades, requiring you to vacuum the area you want to clean. I'll try spraying some on the suction head to see if it picks up more dirt as it hits the floor.

I would not recommend this product to anyone under the age of 15 with ceiling fans. The only fans I can use it on are the old ones in the house. I thought about returning it but decided it was too big a problem! This is a CLOSED end unit and will not fit my new ceiling fan blades. The only way to change the length of the "stick" is to unscrew parts of the handle. It would be better if it was telescopic.

This is a good product. I had a bit of trouble getting it onto the fan blades at first, but I quickly found that flipping it upside down worked better. Haven't had to wash it yet but love the idea that I can do it when it gets dirty. It also reaches other high and even lower places that I find difficult to reach because of my knee problems. We have two fans, one at standard ceiling height and one on the cathedral ceiling. The rag worked fine with a standard ceiling fan, but we struggled to get the rag to wrap around the cathedral's fan blades. Eventually we took a ladder and checked to see if the blades were too big for the rag, but they weren't.
