Standard fare stethoscope - not professional grade

This is just a basic home stethoscope, not anywhere close to a professional grade stethoscope that EMTs or cardiovascular surgeons would use.

Pros
  • Still a small step below Littman, but pretty close at a fraction of the price.
Cons
  • It's not very flexible and may not bend as much as other stethoscopes, making it less suitable for certain exams

Littman is in trouble

I have been a subspecialty physician for 35 years. I have owned many stethoscopes over that time. Mostly Littmans. They had the best acoustics to my ear. Well, this device is about as near an exact copy of the corresponding Littman model as you are ever going to find. A patent must have expired or something. The fit and finish of all components is excellent. You even get 3 sets of ear pieces to get almost a custom fit.And the money shot. The acoustics are excellent. As good as Littman? Pretty…

Pros
  • ANATOMICALLY DESIGNED - The specially designed headset is made to match the angle of the ear canal for a superior fit that allows for better performance. Made with user comfort in mind, the angled fit allows doctors and nurses to use the stethoscope longer without experiencing discomfort.
Cons
  • The tubing may not be suitable for use with certain types of disinfectants or chemicals

I like it and it works well

I am a full time pulmonary critical care doctor and have used a littman forever. My prior littman stethoscope broke and I decided to try this out. Quite simply brilliant and love it. Would buy it again. Given the amount of disposable sthetoscopes I use for patients in isolation these days, I have gotten used to dealing with inferior steths. This particular one is very good and a fraction of the price. Like I tell my residents, the most important aspect of auscultation is using the machinery…

Pros
  • This is a very good quality stethoscope. Good sound and durable. Priced nice as well.
Cons
  • The tubing may produce a lot of noise with movement, affecting the accuracy of readings

Physician's Review

After 20 years of full time medical practice, I moved to an administrative role about 2 years ago. I work in a building with about 200 people and since they (of course) know my background I frequently have a knock on the door and get the chance to do some patient care. Since I keep my main stethoscope (an old HP, I also have a Littman) elsewhere for an occasional shift seeing patients, I wanted one for the office and this fits the bill. I have had other "cheap" scopes over the years and this…

Pros
  • Bought for a family member working at an emergency surgical vet clinic. Working great for her
Cons
  • The black color makes it difficult to differentiate from other stethoscopes

Decent quality for price

As an RN, I can say this is a decent stethoscope for the price. I use a Littman cardiology II stethoscope which is similar. Obviously the Littman is much higher quality but this stethoscope does a pretty good job. Everything is put together really well. It comes with extra eartips and Diaphragms. The ear tips are comfortable. If you can’t hear anything you are putting it in your ears wrong. The tips always need to face forward. This has a non chill ring and the head can be flipped depending on…

Pros
  • Sound quality is great and the price is nice too.
Cons
  • It may not come with additional accessory parts such as a spare diaphragm or extra earpieces

I think it's good enough for the pros

I got this for my kids veterinary playset, and it really does work. We actually hurt our ears the first time we used it, but that's because we slapped the flat part really hard when testing it to see if it worked.

Pros
  • Works well , I work on a ambulance so working well is where the rubber hits the road.
Cons
  • The diaphragm may not pick up low frequency sounds effectively

Replaced my Littman

Got all my medical eqiptment stolen from my car. Rather than dish $200 to replace my Littman I took a chance after reading your reviews! Great sound! Seems to be good quality! Been using for 2 months, now. For the money, this was a great find!

Pros
  • Ideal for professionals and students seeking performance and reliability
Cons
  • The tubing may be prone to discoloration or fading due to exposure to sunlight or UV rays

Comparable to expensive brands

Great value, I replaced an expensive cardiology III with this. The ear pieces fell off this and had to be replaced which is my only complaint after about 6 months. For cotext I'm a hospitalist

Pros
  • Great find
Cons
  • Great quality. Bell is heavy and causes it to slide off when carried around neck. Great extra to have.

Use it every day best in my review

This device is somewhat heavy, but stays around my neck no problem Ear pieces are comfortable and the diaphragm is very sensitive. Makes taking blood pressures a breeze and is very accurate. My wife has a Littman cardiology III and this is just about as good for less than 1/3 the price

Pros
  • Lightweight construction reduces strain on your neck and ears
Cons
  • The diaphragm may be prone to wear and tear, reducing its sensitivity over time

We use this on dogs - but it works great!

This is a solid stethoscope; it looks and feels well made and has held up great. The earpieces are angled as they are supposed to and fit in the ear nicely. This comes in a big box which makes it easy to wrap as a gift. The chest piece is nice - there is no real bell to hold as you might see in other stethoscopes. There's a spot to grip with your fingers but not the usual bell that kind of helps hold your fingers down. This makes this only slightly more challenging to hold in place, especially…

Pros
  • Exceptional acoustic quality for accurate diagnosis
Cons
  • The sound quality may be affected by high ambient noise levels

Keeps on poking my ear

Be careful with this stethoscope, one of the earbuds keeps on falling off and I keep poking my ear. Dangerous. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • Ideal for both personal and professional use
Cons
  • The black color may make it difficult to label or personalize with the user's name or contact information

Not a good stethoscope

This is not a good instrument. I had an older and cheaper stethoscope that provided better sound quality. Would not purchase this again.

Pros
  • Comes with a one-year warranty for added peace of mind
Cons
  • The stethoscope may not be covered under certain medical insurance plans or warranties

I'm not a professional

I'm not a medical professional. I ordered this for my personal use because I was curious. But, at the same time, I have no actual training in how to use it. It seems to pick up sound well, but I have no comparison.

Pros
  • Really nice stethoscope
Cons
  • The chest piece may get scratched easily when in contact with rough surfaces, compromising its sound quality

Average Quality - my new review

I’ve been using a stethoscope for nearly forty years, and am convinced you don’t have to buy an expensive one to adequately hear blood flow, lung sounds or valve abnormalities. That said, I wouldn’t recommend this particular stethoscope. I find the ear tubes poorly align with ears, and that impedes better hearing quality. The earpieces are also not very soft, and interchangeable options are very limited. After wearing these a while, my ears get very sore. The tubing is different than any other…

Pros
  • Affordable price point for a high-quality stethoscope
Cons
  • The chest piece may be too large or too small for certain patient populations, affecting its performance

Just as good as the Master Cardiology

Works every bit as good as my Littman Master Cardiology! I catch murmurs that no one else hears. The bell doesn’t spin freely like the Littman, that’s about the only difference. Oh and my little ear pieces pull off easily if they hang on my mask, which sucks when you’re all geared up and covered in COVID, because I have to touch it to put it back on, but I’m sure all stethoscopes are that way.

Pros
  • Great sound and very sturdy for the ED
Cons
  • The black coloring may fade or chip after rigorous usage and cleaning

Great gift for budding medical student

i got this for my son who will be graduating in May and going on to get his doctorate. They are inexpensive at $33 on Revain. I really couldn't tell much from them except that I am alive. It does come with two extra pair of ear buds.

Pros
  • Works great. Nice heavy quality. Comes with extra ear buds. Comes in a nice box.
Cons
  • It may not come with a carrying case or pouch for storage and transport

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Can’t find replacement ear tips that fit

The sound quality is decent given the price. However, I can’t find replacements for the ear pieces as the ones made for a Littmann do not fit.

Pros
  • B07MKPLLB9
Cons
  • The stethoscope may not be compatible with certain medical training simulators or mannequins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Standard and just average

I bought this for use during nursing school. The low price is fair since the product itself is only fair. I had a hard time hearing anything with it and the tubing felt flimsy to me. I would say this is perfect for a student just starting out or for basic home use. It isn't one I would recommend having in hospital or office use.

Pros
  • Easy to clean with soap and water or alcohol
Cons
  • The stethoscope may produce feedback or interfere with other electronic medical equipment nearby

It's okay for the price, fine for bp & a lot of uses

I've been using stethoscopes for at least 30 years as a RN. I like this design but to me a good test is how well I can hear heart sounds on obese people or very large breasted women. With this one, it's a crapshoot. I often cannot. It works fine for all other things that I've used it for. It's great for blood pressure, abdominal and breast sounds, checking carotid arteries, and listening to pets'.I have one little handicapped cat who has a heart murmur, and I can hear it quite clearly with…

Pros
  • Stethoscopes
Cons
  • The black coating may be difficult to clean, compared to other stethoscope colors available

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Adequate for My Needs

On occasion I will use an arm cuff to double check my blood pressure against the reading obtained from my electronic wrist cuff. This stethoscope works adequately for the purpose. I find the tubes are a bit short for my preference and the stethoscope I received from Revain Vine appears to be the Everone Double Sided Premium Stethoscope instead of the Everone Master Cardiology Stethoscope even though the label on the box indicates it is a "Master" model. ( only a few dollars difference in price…

Pros
  • Advanced features make it an essential tool for practicing and aspiring medical professionals
Cons
  • The stethoscope may require frequent calibration to maintain its accuracy
