Open electronics

I reconfigured this and went with an Arctic Fan Hub instead as it protects the connections and doesn't have an open circuit.

Affordable solution

I have this fan hub splitter to connect multiple fans in one place and use only one fan header on my motherboard, it works like this: find a place where you you can place it you can use included double sided tape or use a screw in the middle, then the included 4-pin fan connector cable goes into the CPU fan connector on the motherboard, the CPU cable from the CPU cooler goes into the red dot on the hub and you need to connect a device with a SATA power connector, if you use 4-pin fans, they are

Pros
  • Awesome!
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than the other options

I needed this to connect 3 non-PWM fans and didn't want to use the MB connector and overload it. This draws power from the SATA connector for the fans, so don't worry. Note that only the red connector reports RPM, none of the others. I don't know why they insist on labeling the processor since nobody will or should connect their CPU fan to it. It must be related to your MB. I had 3 fans that I connected to other ports and the revolutions were not read. Move one to the red connector and I get…

Cannot be needed.

My mobo has connections for 7 fans and allows splitters. So with 3 splitters (2-way) I can have 10 ports like this splitter.
