Another "Fit " review

Lots of comments trying to understand the fit and how warm it is. My bike has good wind protection. Here please. This XL fits my height of 180cm (5ft 11in) and my weight of 108kg (240lbs). I'm driving a Honda Goldwing and 80mph in 40°F (4.4°C) weather (read about 23°F / -5°C winds here), I'm roasted. I'm sure this will fit someone 1-3 inches taller, but if you're overweight it might run out. I have broad shoulders and it's easy to get in and out of, but when it's on it fits great. If you have…

This extends the northern ski season by four months.

I wore this insulated raincoat as outerwear on a 30 day motorcycle trip to Alaska. From mid-May to mid-June we covered nearly 11,000 miles. When it was cold enough, and it was cold enough, it was easy to slip on over my insulated riding jacket and jodhpurs. I usually wear large/extra large and this fits great. I wore this in the rain and it was 35*F and rode at 65-70mph it was very warm and very dry! A little bulky, but when you're warm and dry, what matters.

I commute (30 miles) to/from DC/NOVA daily and drive my HD bagger almost every day when I can. I'm 5ft 10 tall 46 sizes 36x32 and 205# so I ordered LARGE. It offers enough space to easily wear pants, shirt and tie underneath. I ride NOVA HOV speeds (65-80) and lately I've dropped to 30s and feel very comfortable. Haven't had a chance to try waterproofing, but either way I can throw on a raincoat or a heavier leather jacket or even my own heated gear if it gets too damp or cold. The leg zips go…

Warm, waterproof, good quality

I often get cold when I ride my motorcycle. Definitely worse when driving in 30 degrees F or less. I had a lot of motorcycle gear like leather and other plastic/nylon gear to keep my physical body from freezing. I bought this suit here and I'm so glad I bought it. Yes, this costume is fluffy, large and difficult to store due to its size. Still, it keeps me warm. It not only warms me in the morning when the temperature is below zero, but also in the rain. I've never had a truly waterproof suit…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Great suit, bad customer service!

Good, bad and ugly! Let's get straight to the good, or rather EXCELLENT. I'm driving 25 miles one way in the heart of the Green Country, Oklahoma, where the wind really blows across the prairie. So far I've made it through the top 30 and bottom 40 feet while traveling at speeds up to 70mph and the suit has exceeded my expectations! Aside from my mistake of zipping up the cuffs and getting a pretty quick gust of air, I enjoyed a comfortable ride without the cold getting in. penetration of cold…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Hard to say

I live in New York. If you read this in the future, it was very cold in New York in January 2017. It was 15-25 degrees Fahrenheit and dropped into the single digits at times, making it almost impossible to ride a motorcycle. I thought $200 was a lot but I put it in to keep riding. I tried it for the first time last night when it was 19 degrees Fahrenheit. Under the suit I put on a jacket, a long-sleeved shirt, jeans and thermal underwear. I was a bit cold while riding, otherwise comfortable…

BEAUTIFUL, SIMPLY GREAT!

I love when people write detailed descriptions, especially about products that cost decent money, so I'll do my best to give you what I have. I live in Birmingham, Alabama and have had the suit for about a month. I've ridden in this suit in temperatures between 20 and 55 degrees and had no problems. It can be a bit unwieldy when walking, but when you're on the bike in the riding position, everything is where it's supposed to be. I know many other people have given relevant information and so…

Pros
  • Solid finish

  • Definitely bad product

Saved my life! Thank you!

At 1 am I was working to finish a project. It started raining, which I had no idea, and I was two hours from home. I jumped on my bike in this suit and it started raining. I was scared during a two hour freeway ride in the pitch dark night on a Ninja, but thanks to this suit I was completely warm and dry. Weather dropped from dry and 70 to under 40 and torrential rain throughout the ride with speeds of 40 to 65 mph. The cold wind at these speeds was brutal and the windy rain was like a dagger…

  • Everything is fine!

This suit is amazing. I work in healthcare, so I often wear bathrobes to work. When the weather is around 30 degrees, I can easily drive for 30 minutes in my bathrobe and the first green suit. I live in Pennsylvania and am still driving my Road King Special to work at the end of December. I wouldn't worry about it until I discovered this product. I'm 5ft 9in, 182lbs and the medium size fits perfectly. The velcro is strong, the zippers are impressive and overall the product is well constructed…
