Boat coolant hoses - Works great

Bought these hoses to replace the water hoses on my Mercruiser v8. They are tough but very flexible. One of the best high temp hoses I've found.

Pros
  • Construction: Silicone hose with 1 ply nylon fiber reinforcement
Cons
  • Questionable purchase by elderly

Excellent Marine A/C Drain Hose

Used as drain hose (replaces rubber hose) for marine air conditioning drain. No problems with algae and dirt sticking like rubber. Very happy with the end result!

Pros
  • BURST PRESSURE 250 PSI
Cons

Leaks all over the parts

This hose looks good but the silicone doesn't seal the pipe like a rubber hose. I've used it with expensive all-silicone hose clamps and almost every fitting has leaked. I've gone around and tightened all the clamps to the max and even double clamped some and I still have a few slow drips even after several heating cycles. Now I plan to open up the engine compartment again and replace them with Gates rubber hoses. So this purchase will not only spend my money on the hose, but about a day's work

Pros
  • RECOMMENDED 125 PSI
Cons
  • Nothing here
