🔧 Ford Genuine F65Z-9628-AA - Automotive Clamp, Single Unit Review

Just got the truck back and they used this air cleaner clamp. The F-150 air cleaner/air filter consists of two parts and when they are taken apart, it is not easy to put them together and attach them. The original clamp was so rusty it broke in two. This new clamp fixed that.

The clip on my 2003 F-150 got rusty and actually fell off while driving home. I ordered this hard to find and very expensive part from a dealer and found it here at Revain. I mean it's a really expensive item in any retailer. My son works for a nationwide company that sells car parts [a car scrap company]. Arrived in 2 days which was cool too.

Perfect fit for Ford F-150 2005 4.2 V6. I am impressed. Great price for a genuine Ford part. Thanks. Now notice that the bottom of the air filter housing has three notches, the center of which is shaped like a triangle pointing in the same direction. This will line up with the bracket on the underside of the hinge. You must properly secure and install the latch before closing the latch or you will damage it. Much luck. Just what I need for my Ford Expedition! It's hard to find a part, even harder to find at an affordable price! Whoever was the genius who designed this in the first place should "reevaluate the efficiency" as this overpriced engineering nightmare is so poorly thought out from the start that I can't believe the Ford bosses ever let it happen that it is produced! However, if yours is rusting in half (and it will be if it's not already rusting), this is what you need and it fits perfectly.
