Great for a wax museum project

Does not cover baby hair as well as shown (although it could be for a small child). Still, it looked great for a son's wax museum project at school (although a few of his hairs stuck out here and there. ha!)

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Cheap, shapeless in costumes and accessories

Price wise it's rubbish - the shape is utterly odd and it's almost impossible to comb or style the hair properly when it looks scrunched up and misshapen most of the time. and there's nothing you can do about it. He also has terrible hair and the black strap started tearing when we got it.

Pros
  • Gorgeous construction
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Not what was expected for boys

Bought for the school's wax museum. son is 8 years old. old and she was NOT laying on his head! (and he has a normal sized head --- FYI). He used it anyway since it was too late to turn back, but his brown hair was VERY visible underneath. He wasn't too happy. :/ Keep in mind this may be your case if you're buying for kids my son's age.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Very cute wig, but the curls get a bit "wild " and can irritate the skin.

Looks charming. But my son complains about how "itchy" it is to wear. One of my kids used it on Halloween this year and ended up with a rash on his face and stomach from wearing the wig. He has more sensitive skin and wore it 2 days in a row on different nights. My oldest son bought this costume wig to 'be' Captain Cook for a school presentation. Everything worked great! Suitable for short-term use. long wearing can cause irritation.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

George Washington of the 21st Century!

Not as itchy as you might expect. Look at this (powder-free) wig! How can this not drive you crazy and make you rip it off your head and scratch it like crazy? Inside is a web to help you live the life of a colonial babe for hours of endless fun. This is perfect for a 10 year old's head. If you want to look like George (or Martha, by the way!) Washington or a colonial Central Casting Lady, you can't go wrong with this colonial wig. This is the winner! Where's my corn pipe and musket?

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Something different

So while they're cool from a distance, they're not so cool up close

The problem with these white wigs is that they're off the charts. They are somewhat bluish-white in their plastic quality. While they're cool from a distance, they're not that cool up close. This particular wig out of the box was a fantastic shape. But you have to be really, really gentle with it so it doesn't lose its style - there's really no way to comb it out or give it a smooth, finished look. And my 6 year old (bought for an Alexander Hamilton costume) is not what you would call gentle…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Empty

. forced to help - this wig is not great not terrible

Halloween is coming and I feel compelled to help - this wig is not great not terrible. About what you expect for $11. I have two comments: style and size. STYLE The photo shows a wig that reaches well past the ears to the chin. In fact, you get a wig that is significantly shorter and barely covers the ears. My daughter is 9 years old and has a rather small head. She will have a crown on her head so we need the length on the sides. Brevity is a disadvantage. THE SIZE. Reviews are so subjective -

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • compatibility
