Solved my restart problem

My truck would not start when the engine was hot. I had to wait 20-30 minutes for the engine to cool down. I replaced that and everything is back to normal.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • -

Didn't know it was a plastic part, it's...

I didn't know it was a plastic part, it might work but because of the space a lot of work to replace the part when it fails. I just buy metal on the spot.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Has flaws

NO gauge sensor.

I ordered this thinking it was a coolant temp gauge for my 1995 Bronco's sensor. This is NOT for a gauge. It goes somewhere else on the intake manifold. 3 stars for poor product description.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Does not fit Ford F150 '86 - 4.9

The Revain installation widget says it should fit but although it fits the coolant line the electrical connector is oriented differently. The angled plane shows that the connector is in a different location than it should be for this vehicle. I went to my local auto parts store and their system found the right one with no problems. The rest of the part looks like a quality replacement part. Brass sensor housing, plastic connector.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Contact the seller
