The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

β€’ VC is very effective (1/30'~1/5'), but also tricky if turned on out of place. Unfortunately, Nikon carcasses do not provide "Auto VR" algorithms; β€’ MDF allows you to shoot "near-macro" (jpg in attachment), but because of this, AF speed suffers at dusk; β€’ the dimensions didn't fit. too big as a staffer (I'm not a pro, the larger the lens, the less often it is with me). In general, an excellent lens, the main thing is an excellent picture.

Pros
  • The main advantages are known - sharp, accurate, reliable, etc. β€’ HA are minimal, visible only on the open in extreme double; β€’ soft bokeh at all holes and distances, no scales, only cream; β€’ the contrast on the open is slightly weaker than 50/1.8g, on the covered ones it is slightly stronger; β€’ transitions are soft, lights/shadows without dips; β€’ wide ring with a large angle of rotation; β€’ constructive, ergonomics and materials are better than many branded glasses;
Cons
  • β€’ uncertain work of AF on non-cross sensors incl. in live-view; β€’ AF is slower than 50/1.8g and much slower than screwdriver fixes; β€’ AF misses already in room lighting, and when using the backlight from the speedlight - back focus (with a built-in standard lamp); β€’ slight ultramarine color-shift on the open;

Best product I have ever reviewed, I recommend it to everyone!

First of all, I appreciate it for its sharpness. All other characteristics are not so important to me. And I bought it for quite sane money, which is rare for other lenses. Worker - with a fully open hole. The presence of a stabilizer helps to take pictures without blurring, even when at the end of the day I'm already tired and my hands are shaking and, accordingly, saves 3.5-4 exposure steps. And by the way, when I was choosing a lens for myself, I didn’t think that such a high resolution can…

Pros
  • sharpness unambiguously
Cons
  • No

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

an excellent lens for sane money, in sharpness, autofocus is ahead of the nearest competitors sigma 50 art (sigma was just replaced with a tamron) in the picture everything is very juicy and beautiful, there is a slight presence of HA in the open, but not critical . I won’t write in more detail because there are enough reviews on this topic with good examples in my opinion, I consider it an excellent replacement for lenses such as nikkor 50 (all) sigma 50 art

Pros
  • 1) Build Quality 2) Metal case 3) Excellent autofocus performance 4) Awesome sharpness 5) Beautiful picture 6) Boke - no words . 7) Almost no HA and of course the stabilizer
Cons
  • not revealed and hopefully will not be

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Recently, I have become a big fan of Tamron glasses. For a long time I used my native Nikon 50mm 1.4G. In terms of sharpness, it is inferior to 45mm from Tamron. Plus, rather uncertain autofocus (especially at open apertures) and back focus personally in my model. As a result, I sold and bought this lens, which I do not regret. Even a slightly wider angle pleases, because. it is as close as possible to the focal length natural for the eye (which is 43mm in the full frame). Managed to test him

Pros
  • 1. Razor sharpness even on an open aperture (checked repeatedly). 2. Quality looking, durable, weatherproof housing. No loopholes. 3. An optical stabilizer that works. Very useful, for example, on my Nikon D810, whose 36-megapixel sensor is more sensitive to blurring. I got sharp shots at a shutter speed of 1/10 sec. 4. Super short minimum focusing distance. Only 29 cm. You can take pictures almost point-blank, just checked, everything works.
Cons
  • Slow (at the same time, I note, however, very accurate) autofocus. May not be suitable for fast reporting. I’m already pulling it out by the ears, but traces of raindrops remain visible on the matte case. Easily removed with a cloth.
