Review on πŸ“· TAMRON SP 45mm F1.8 Di VC Full-Size F013N for Nikon (Genuine Japan Domestic Product) by Bang Iyaan ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

β€’ VC is very effective (1/30'~1/5'), but also tricky if turned on out of place. Unfortunately, Nikon carcasses do not provide "Auto VR" algorithms; β€’ MDF allows you to shoot "near-macro" (jpg in attachment), but because of this, AF speed suffers at dusk; β€’ the dimensions didn't fit. too big as a staffer (I'm not a pro, the larger the lens, the less often it is with me). In general, an excellent lens, the main thing is an excellent picture.

Pros
  • The main advantages are known - sharp, accurate, reliable, etc. β€’ HA are minimal, visible only on the open in extreme double; β€’ soft bokeh at all holes and distances, no scales, only cream; β€’ the contrast on the open is slightly weaker than 50/1.8g, on the covered ones it is slightly stronger; β€’ transitions are soft, lights/shadows without dips; β€’ wide ring with a large angle of rotation; β€’ constructive, ergonomics and materials are better than many branded glasses;
Cons
  • β€’ uncertain work of AF on non-cross sensors incl. in live-view; β€’ AF is slower than 50/1.8g and much slower than screwdriver fixes; β€’ AF misses already in room lighting, and when using the backlight from the speedlight - back focus (with a built-in standard lamp); β€’ slight ultramarine color-shift on the open;
