Good product! Best in Industrial Electrical Engineering

In use for years! Very reliable and easy to install. They work fine! Never complained, just WOW! Magnetic reed switches are recommended for a clean installation, but they will work with all other mechanical switches.

Ideal for automating pantry or closet lighting.

We bought this to control the pantry lights we have fitted in the kitchen as we didn't want a standard external switch. I used this in combination with an NC reed switch. Directed Electronics 8600 Micro-Magnetic Switch and One of Hyperikon's 5/6" Dimmable LED Downlights, ENERGY STAR, 14W (75W Replacement), 4000K (Daylight White), CRI90+, Enhanced LED Downlight, LED Downlight, - (Pack of 4 -pack), in standard IC rated bracket. In general everything is fine.

We bought this to put in a pantry we were working on and wanted light inside. We didn't need a switch outside the door or inside as it was a small storage room. Since we were working with the wiring it was easy to add an extra socket in the ceiling. Instead of a light, we plugged it into a single outlet at the top of the pantry as we wanted to use the LED strip that illuminates the inside of the door frame to illuminate the entire pantry, not just the upstairs bulb.
