I should have known better considering the capacity is listed as a range. Luckily they fit our small bathroom litter so I don't have to return them but I bought them with the intention of using them for our office glasses. The foil is very thin. 1 mil if I had to guess, but my fingers aren't calibrated so no promises.

This is a great replacement size for whatever you use in leaky Walmart bags and only fits small bins. I've never had a single leak or rupture, but then I don't overfill. There were some comments about it being flimsy and not durable. If you are looking for a very strong and large bag, may I draw your attention to 55 gallon heavy duty contractor bags.

They are perfect for the small kitchen bin we have - the size we used to use for plastic grocery bags. Although these bags are very thin, I haven't had any problems with bags leaking (which was a common problem with plastic bags). These bags make this kitchen task a lot easier! (And now I can just ask for "paper" and/or take my reusable bags to the grocery store.)
