My favorite spark plug head

This is a darn near perfect spark plug head, the long extension built into the spigot and the magnetic mount are perfect. Obviously this isn't the only spark plug wrench you'll need in your box (I see BMWs, F150s and Prius here) but it will fit most vehicles and if you check the Gearwrench catalog you can find shorter versions. thereof together with the sizes 9/16 and 13/16. However, I haven't seen a large power plug outside my lawnmower in ages.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Some nuances

This is the perfect tool to change the spark plugs in my car! I have a very deep well and always leave the plug in the motor with the outlet plugged in if there is any problem at all. I found that the "bond" I felt was because my skinny wall outlet wasn't that skinny. This outlet is in fact a thin-walled outlet. I was able to change my spark plugs in fifteen minutes, even with anti-seize on the threads and dielectric grease on the tip. You will not be disappointed.

Pros
  • Spark Plugs & Ignition Tools
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Great product - quality product.

Got this because the spark plug socket slipped off the extension and got stuck in a damn spot, I'd rather not have it. This can happen on Toyota Corolla / Camry engines etc. This is a great tool that I wish I had bought ages ago. The rubber boot no longer slips out of the socket and prevents an easy maintenance operation. This spark plug tool holds the spark plug in place making it easy to insert the spark plug into the threads. Cross the threads on the connector and you'll know the definition…
