They break regularly.

I've gotten them from other vendors, but this vendor's sensors seem to be failing in such a way that they are starting to give inaccurate moisture readings.

Pros
  • The DHT22 is a robust temperature and humidity sensor. The output signal is a serial digital sequence of bits. The sensor is ideal for room climate monitoring or for setting up a weather station.

All four differ in temperature

Comes in a pack of four. I connected each of them to the same device and with the same software, three differed by +/- 5 degrees, one was more than 40 degrees lower than the others.

Pretty good temperature/humidity sensor

These are good sensors to start with. There are no problems with addressing as they don't use I2C - just GPIO. The only issue I had was that if you need a longer cable it tends to fizzle out and not work very reliably. Otherwise they are fairly accurate and reliable. I wouldn't update the sensor data more than once every few seconds (I did it once a minute) because it'll annoy you, but it works damn well.
