Not for Elantra 2012

Light is dim when it should be bright and bright when it should be dim. This means that the turn signal will not be visible when the headlights are on, and the turn signal will flash rapidly due to incorrect resistance in the circuit.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • No performance

Suitable for Hyundai Sonata 12

2012 Sonata - works like original. A common problem with this fast turn signal vehicle still occurs. Apparently, the problem is not with this connection, but with the design of the wireless connection. We had to replace the connector because we were trying to fix the turn signal speed.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons

Repeat the same review as the other guy who said this was the wrong part.

Exactly the same experience. It appears to be the same part, it fits, etc., but then both filaments of the lamp are lit and the machine still registers that the turn signal is off. I figured I would save time by not driving all the way to the dealer, but I ended up wasting my time and ten bucks when it wasn't refunded. We will see.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

Worked on my mother's 2007 Sante Fe

My mother's 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe had a problem with the passenger side (right side) flashing rapidly, and according to the Hyundai parts specialist website for her Sante Fe, I was ordered first "92166-0A500 Turn signal bulb holder assembly" but that didn't solve the problem so I went back to Revain, saw this one and saw 2 other reviews saying it worked for their 2007 year so I bought it, installed and YES . It worked well and now it's flashing properly, so that backs up the other two reviews…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not automatic

Worked great on a 2015 Kia Soul

I've had this socket as well as others that got the old fast turn signal to work. On the old outlet I switched sides, changed lightbulbs to finally be sure it was an outlet. I tried to find the "correct" part for Kia on the internet and couldn't even find the part number. I ordered this because I knew Hyundai owns Kia and it works. I've been waiting for the app. a month and no problems. Worked out of a bag and still works.

Pros
  • Direct fit
Cons
  • Zero

Buying for Kia it's not exactly the same

I bought this for my 2011 Kia Sportage. It fit perfectly and worked, but with one caveat. The "wing" you can grab is much shorter than the OEM version. On the driver's side this isn't a problem, but on the passenger's side it's very difficult to get past the windshield washer spout and grab it to latch it. I ended up using a special long-necked pliers. The fit and finish was fine, just as good as the OEM, otherwise it was exactly what I expected. And to be honest you can see from the picture…

Pros
  • OEM quality
Cons
  • Blank

This is NOT the right part. Period.

Certainly looks like the correct part in what appears to be an original bag with the correct part number for about 1/3 the cost than the retailer. Warning against tempters. Let the buyer beware. With the help of a friend (ALSO A MECHANIC) and a few wasted hours, we finally pulled out the outlet from the working side of the car and compared it with a magnifying glass. There are two very small protrusions on the underside of both parts (inside). The correct part and the one I bought here are…

Pros
  • Original Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
