Great addition, good value for money

Easy to install and for the money you can't beat it. I put my CRF250L on and it helps when I hit the paved road and want to relax. It might sound like too much money for what it's being put back on, it can't be.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Your best $20 is spent when you drive long distances.

This is the simplest gas lock you can buy, works really great! My wife's Scout and my Vstrom 1000 are great for touring, but we had to give our gas by riding 200-400 days with a mic. We love this product!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Very expensive

Must have for motorcycles and powersports

For me this is a must have for a sport bike. Without them, my hand gets tired and can become dangerous. When I need to signal with my right hand, I can quickly snap the throttle back into position and release it briefly to communicate with others. I have had this product on two different bikes. The latter lasted at least 6 years and was sold with the bike.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not the best

DOESN'T WORK for Ducati Scrambler

probably cool for many bikes, unfortunately doesn't work for Ducati Scrambler at all - it's too short to reach the lever. which is totally insane. all they had to do was make this thing 1/4 inch longer. why are you cutting it so tight? Too bad, I was hoping to finally alleviate the terrible grip cramps over long distances. because it's totally useless.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Best Throttle Lock for Motorcycles and Motorsports

This saved my life during my 5 day 1700km ride. Very easy to install. It locks the throttle for a minute or two. You have to play with it for a few seconds to get to the right spot, but very easy. Once you do this it will be a game changer. You lock it, it stays on for a minute, it takes a few seconds to lock again, and you're sane for a few more minutes. This gives your hand a wonderful rest from any cramps. Do not use in traffic or on winding roads. For the price it couldn't be better.

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Protection

I have two of these

I have this installed on my two DR650's. I obviously love it. You should know that this is not cruise control, but a lifeline. This allows you to take your hand off the gas for a few seconds to curl your fingers or wave to someone. Left unattended, it will slowly slide and the bike will slow down. You can prevent this by placing your hand lightly on the throttle. 19 euros is a lot for a small piece of plastic. But it's well designed and well made and just works. You can't do without it on long…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Everything is great
