Great price and product!

are great tires and much needed! They perform very well in the rain and I feel completely confident about both the handling and the tire's bad weather capabilities.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some Cons

buy you! great season tire!

Love them, very grippy, tired on a dry day, good in the wet and snow. Overall fun, just wish they didn't have an H rating, really wanted V or T rating, but for the price it's a steal.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Zero

great tire for miata

Already 3 years with this tire. They still look almost new. 20,000 km on it. Mileage on the Miat 99. Track and country roads only / summer. The machine is light, there is no wear and tear, however. I kick the shit out of this car. Very good grip at high speed on the highway.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • piggy bank price

Hankook Ventus V2 = Good tires at a good price

Done over 200 miles in rain, slush and dry roads and they ride great. I haven't felt aquaplaning yet. They are pretty quiet and the ride is pretty comfortable. Overall I think these are good tires for the price. I will definitely buy them again if I need them.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not the best

A little loose in the rain but great for dry weather

I put these on my Miata 02 and have been warned they are terrible in the rain. Although not as good as others in wet conditions, they are quite adequate for safe and normal driving. On dry roads the grip is very good, especially considering the price. Road noise seems acceptable, although with the Miate I'm not sure I'd notice it if it were loud. They also gradually and audibly lose traction, making them easier to steer around the edge.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Terrible in the rain

These are absolutely the WORST tires I've ever owned. I've had them on a 2003 Miata with less than 1000 miles and even when they were brand new they were slightly better in the rain than 6 year old tires which is the biggest problem. I contacted Hankook and they didn't offer any real solution other than checking with the tire shop and contacting them. I have typically used Extreme Summer (200tw) tires on my Miata for the last 8 years so my expectations for wet grip are not very high but they…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Nothing here

These tires deserve serious attention

I bought two of these tires to replace some of the worn ones on the back of my Toyota MR2 Spyder '00. The car is rear engine, rear wheel drive, so good traction is a must when it starts to rain. They do well on wet roads, but suffer in the winter. Road noise is almost nonexistent, and that's saying a lot when you're in a car where you can hear the pickup's engine sound as clear as day. 1/8 mile behind him on the interstate. Cornering is good. I haven't pushed it all the way yet, but it seems…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
