Not for standard American aquariums

Economical glass aquarium with black border and rim. I had to saw off some of the black trim on the top of my tank to fit. The first broke in half during assembly. Slightly time-consuming headache to install.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Perfect Clear Clips

Media failed to load. These clips are perfect. I ordered a custom clear cap for my tank and when the cap arrived it was a bit small. I ordered these clips in the hope that I could use the top I bought and wouldn't order another one. These clips worked better than I expected. Love the crisp look, I was able to use my light stand on it. They allow you to remove the top and put it back on so easily. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Doesn't fit my old "standard " all glass tanks

The hole is too narrow to remove the plastic trim on top of the Aqueon and similar "standard" glass tanks. After removing the panel, the gap becomes too big to hold the brackets securely. I adjusted them by filling the gap with aquarium silicone sealant and gluing them in place while it cured. Of course I had to do this with an empty tank as the fumes from the curing sealant are toxic. But finally I have a safe method to support a custom molded aquarium lid.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • No power
