Garbage. Waste of money

I bought this as a last resort. With so many positive reviews, I figured I might get a job with this. no Firstly, the scale doesn't go to 0 right away. I didn't worry too much about this as I only need to bleed the brakes. However, it was an omen of fun to come. The way it works is that you create a vacuum on a plastic canister and as air is sucked out, a line connected to the bleed valve sucks fluid out of your brake. System. That would be fine if this container didn't close at the top toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small house

Look No Further

My dealer tried to explain that it takes at least two hours to flush and change the brake fluid on my '09 ZX6R and gave me an estimate of $181. As I picked my jaw off the ground and drove home, I found this beauty. The metal construction (unlike some others on Amazon which are plastic) was unexpected at this price point. It comes in a case, which is another big plus, and comes with several bleeding nipples. I was planning on using teflon tape to create a decent vacuum between the nipples andโ€ฆ

All I get is bubbles

I haven't been able to get this alone to draw out much liquid. Even though it only holds a vacuum, when I open the release valve I only get a stream of bubbles at the beginning of the hose, even though there is no air in the line. Air can be drawn in through a loose connection on the exhaust valve and tube, or somehow around the back of the exhaust valve. I may need a different adapter to hold the exhaust valve tighter, but that defeats the purpose of the kit. In any case, it is impossible toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • Long shipping time

9/10 I would buy again. Maybe too.

I bought two of these and have found them very useful and reliable for many vacuum or siphon applications. A solid metal pump is sometimes hard to find, but this one is reliable. TBH, the packaging is actually too good. I would prefer if they use a hollow universal red product case with some kind of foam insert. Though washing off the chemicals wouldn't be that easy. But the first pump broke somehow, I can't remember why. I think I dropped it or something. But I wanted to keep the red sleeveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Not the best quality, but one of the best tools a DIY enthusiast could own!

Fairly cheap but good for bleeding brakes and hydraulic lines. Seriously, using this tool to bleed your brakes just once will pay for itself. $20 vs manual brake bleed, I'm happy to spend $20. The tote bag is nice and sturdy, and comes with a variety of fittings and attachments for other uses (I used it to test the functionality of an EGR valve, a vacuum reservoir, and a pair of computer-controlled vacuum magnets). .I sucked some brake fluid into the pump itself on the second set of brakes Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Slim design

  • Upgradeable

First use, no longer works. - Went to old school to get a job.

When I bled my brakes for the first time I was thrilled, everything is fine I thought, time to get my old Ford back on the road. I opened the box and read the instructions (although it's pretty easy to use one of those), well none of the plastic tipped adapters will fit my 1989 Ford F-350 brake bleeder bolts, I ended up using adapters from an old kit I had . Long story short, I bled the driver's front, done. Passenger pumped up, done. I started bleeding the rear driver's side and noticed thatโ€ฆ
